Though Kevin Verpaele grew up in Merritt Island, Florida, where he graduated from Merritt Island High School in 1999, one piece of trivia many don’t know about him is that he was actually born in Elmhurst, Illinois. Following his high school graduation, he moved on to attend the University of South Florida on a football scholarship and became a starting safety.
Impressively, while Kevin Verpaele was earning a degree and playing college football, he was also married and raising a child with his wife. In fact, it is perhaps a sign of just how important family is to him that he was more than willing to leave football practice early to pick up his daughter from her child care facility, wearing his complete uniform, and coming back to practice to finish. In his senior year, he was even named captain of the football team, which was a huge honor.
After graduating from college, Kevin Verpaele and his family moved into a home in Melbourne, in Brevard County. Over the past 15 years or so, Kevin Verpaele has managed to compile a significant amount of work experience. For instance, Kevin worked on the Space Lift Range Systems at Patrick Air Force Base as a configuration manager. These days, he has acquired and currently runs Critter Ridders Pest Control in Brevard County, which offers a wide range of pest prevention and remediation services to residential and commercial properties throughout the county, all at prices anyone can afford. Career and family both hold an important place in the life of Kevin Verpaele.
